swell) [<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/bucket\">source<\/a>].<\/p>\n<p>Words for the same Proto-Germanic root include <strong>bowk<\/strong> (to retch, vomit, emit smoke) in Scots, <strong>buik<\/strong> [b\u0153y\u032fk] (belly, paunch) in Dutch, <strong>buque<\/strong> [\u02c8buke] (ship, vessel) in Spanish, and <strong>buco<\/strong> [\u02c8bu.ko] (hole, gap, hovel) in
