I have recordings for most of them which I\u2019ll be adding when I have a spare moment or two.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a new numbers page in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/language\/numbers\/turoyo.htm\">Turoyo<\/a> (\u071b\u0718\u072a\u071d\u0710 \/ \u0723\u0718\u072a\u071d\u072c), an Eastern Aramaic language spoken in southeastern Turkey and northeastern Syria.<\/p>\n<p>There are Omniglot blog posts about Dutch words, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/?p=21345\">Climbing Up<\/a>, and about similarities and differences between Japanese and Chinese, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/?p=21358\">High Costs<\/a>, as well as the usual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/?p=21379\">language quiz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/celtiadur\/\">Celtiadur<\/a> post this week is about words for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/celtiadur\/2021\/09\/01\/cells-and-churches\/\">cells, churches<\/a> and related things in Celtic languages.<\/p>\n<p>This week\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/radio\/?p=1385\">Adventure in Etymology<\/a> tells a tale about the origins of the word <strong>yarn<\/strong>. Versions of this adventure can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/radio\/?p=1385\">YouTube<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CTZoBNhIFxT\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link\">Instagram<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/vm.tiktok.com\/ZMRyhyJYk\/\">TikTok<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.duolingo.com\/profile\/Omniglossia\">Duolingo<\/a> I recently reached 1,500 days in my current streak (1,506 today). I am currently studying Japanese and Spanish there, and I\u2019ve also completed courses in Swedish, Russian, Danish, Czech, Esperanto and Romanian.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, I was a guest judge for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fluentin3months.com\/challenge\">Fluent in 3 Months Challenge<\/a> this week.
