It looks at lot like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/baybayin.htm\">Baybayin script<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/tagalog.htm\">Tagalog<\/a>, and is used to write languages spoken in the Visayas region of the Philippines, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/cebuano.htm\">Cebuano<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/hiligaynon.htm\">Hiligaynon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This week\u2019s new languages are: Doteli, Kinabalian and Yawuru.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/doteli.htm\">Doteli\/Dotyali<\/a> (\u0921\u094b\u091f\u0947\u0932\u0940) &#8211; an Eastern Pahari language spoken in Sudurpashchim province in western Nepal.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/kinabalian.htm\">Kinabalian<\/a> &#8211; a Visayan language spoken in Leyte province in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philipines.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/tawuru.htm\">Yawuru<\/a> &#8211; an Eastern Nyulnyulan language spoken in and around Broome in the Kimberley region in the north of Western Australia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is a new collection of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/language\/phrases\/sillywelsh.htm\">silly phrases in Welsh<\/a>, most of which involve Owen and his parships. Most of them come from the Welsh course on Duolingo and were sent to me by a friend who is studying Welsh. This inspired this week\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/radio\/?p=1231\">Adventure in Etymology<\/a>, which is about <strong>parsnips<\/strong>. Another podcast that looks at the origins of words, and other things, is <a href=\"https:\/\/englishwithstephen.com\/podcasts\/\">English with Stephen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There are new numbers pages in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/language\/numbers\/mocheno.htm\">M\u00f2cheno<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/language\/numbers\/coptic.htm\">Coptic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This week\u2019s Omniglot blog posts were about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/?p=21167\">subjects<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/?p=21182\">fonts<\/a> and the usual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/?p=21200\">language quiz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The mystery language in last week\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/?p=21165\">language quiz<\/a> was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/rukai.htm\">Rukai<\/a>, a Formosan language spoken in parts of southern Taiwan.
