Do restaurants in other countries do this?<\/p>\n<p>Would you rather have <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Toad_in_the_hole\">toad-in-the-hole<\/a> or <em>saucisses cuites au four dans de la p\u00e2te \u00e0 cr\u00eapes<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p>Or how about <em>pudding aux raisins<\/em> instead of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Spotted_dick\">spotted dick<\/a>?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I discovered an interesting French word: paner, which means to coat with breadcrumbs or to bread.
