Here are some examples from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/wired\/archive\/14.11\/sixwords.html\">Wired Magazine<\/a> written by sci-fi, fantasy, and horror writers:<\/p>\n<p>Dinosaurs return. Want their oil back.<br \/>\n<em>&#8211; David Brin<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Lost, then found. Too bad.<br \/>\n<em>&#8211; Graeme Gibson<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Lie detector eyeglasses perfected: Civilization collapses.<br \/>\n<em>&#8211; Richard Powers<\/em><\/p>\n<p>TIME MACHINE REACHES FUTURE!!! \u2026 nobody there \u2026<br \/>\n<em>&#8211; Harry Harrison<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For sale: baby shoes, never worn.<br \/>\n<em>&#8211; Ernest Hemmingway<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The last one was written by Hemmingway in the 1920s after his colleagues bet him that he couldn\u2019t write a complete story in just six words. They paid up. Hemingway is said to have considered it his best work. So this certainly isn&#8217;t a new idea. There are many more on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sixwordstories.net\/\">Six Word Stories<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On discovering this, I started wondering whether such stories could be written in languages other than English. I thought it might be easier in some languages than in others. So can you come up with any six word stories in any language or combination of languages?
