It is possibly also related to:<\/p>\n<p>Armenian: kni\u045c (slab, letter)<br \/>\nAssyrian: kuniku (slab, document)<br \/>\nHungarian: k\u00f6nyv (book)<br \/>\nKorean: \uad8c (kwen &#8211; book)<br \/>\nMordvin: ko\u0144ov (paper)<br \/>\nSumerian: kunukku (seal, stamp)<\/p>\n<p>If all these words are indeed related, it&#8217;s possible that they come from a common source &#8211; maybe Chinese, as paper was invented in China in about the 1st century AD, and books sometime after that.
