While trying work out how to pronounce the Polish, I noticed that some of the the Polish consonants are similar to those found in Mandarin Chinese.<\/p>\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Polish c [ts] = Mandarin c, as in \u6b21<\/li>\n<li>Polish \u0107 &#038; c+i [\u02a8] = Mandarin q, as in \u4e03<\/li>\n<li>Polish cz [t\u0282] Mandarin ch, as in \u5403<\/li>\n<li>Polish sz [\u0282] = Mandarin sh, as in \u5341<\/li>\n<li>Polish \u015b &#038; s+i [\u0255] = Mandarin x, as in \u897f<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Comparing the pronunciation of one language to another isn&#8217;t always helpful and can be misleading.
