A medical term that also exists in French (<em>gargal\u00e9sie<\/em>). The word <em>gargalos<\/em> also means bottleneck in Portuguese. Related words include <em>gargalesis<\/em> (heavy tickling) and knismesis (light tickling).<\/p>\n<p><strong>ginglyform<\/strong> [\u02c8\u0261\u026a\u014b\u0261l\u026af\u0254\u02d0m] &#8211; hinge-shaped, from the Greek <em>ginglumos<\/em> (a hinge). A medical term used to refer to types of joints such as knee and elbow joints. Related words include <em>ginglymus<\/em> (a hinge joint), and <em>ginglymoid<\/em> (a hinge-like movement). It is thought to come from canal workers&#8217; slang, possibly from the Lincolnshire dialect words gawn and gooze, which both mean to stare or gape [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldwidewords.org\/weirdwords\/ww-gon1.htm\">source<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p><strong>misodoctakleidist<\/strong> &#8211; someone who hates practising the piano [I can&#8217;t find any more information about this word]<\/p>\n<p><strong>mytacism<\/strong> [mi\u02d0\u02c8t\u0259s\u026az\u02cc\u0259m]- excessive use of or fondness for, or incorrect use of the letter M and the sound it represents [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefreedictionary.com\/Mytacism\">source<\/a>].
