We also thought that the French version of word of mouth, <em>de bouche \u00e0 oreille<\/em> (from mouth to ear), seems to be more logical then the English. Another way to say word of mouth in French is <em>de vive voix<\/em> (of live mouth).<\/p>\n<p>Word of mouth in Chinese is \u53e3\u8033\u76f8\u50b3 (k\u01d2u \u011br xi\u0101ng chu\u00e1n) or &#8220;mouth ear mutual spread&#8221; or \u53e3\u53e3\u76f8\u50b3 (mouth mouth mutual spread); in Dutch it&#8217;s <em>van mond tot mond<\/em> (from mouth to mouth) and it&#8217;s the same in German, <em>von Mund zu Mund<\/em>.
