There seem to be different ways to say here<\/strong> in Russian. In some contexts you use \u0442\u0443\u0442<\/strong> (tut), and in others \u0437\u0434\u0435\u0441\u044c<\/strong> (zdyes’), or another word. I’m not sure when to use each one, so I thought I’d investigate.<\/p>\n \u0422\u0443\u0442<\/strong> means here, then, at this point, and other things in some phrases [source<\/a>]. For example:<\/p>\n \u0422\u0443\u0442<\/strong> comes from Old East Slavic \u0442\u0443\u0442\u044a<\/em> (tut\u016d – here; thereto; herewith), from \u0442\u0443<\/em> (tu – there; thereto; then; here, herewith), from Proto-Slavic *tuto\/*tu<\/em> (there, here) [source<\/a>].<\/p>\n \u0417\u0434\u0435\u0441\u044c<\/strong> means here or therein [source<\/a>].
