For example: <em>Elvis har forladt bygningen<\/em> (Elvis has left the building). <\/p>\n<p><strong>Afrejse<\/strong> means to leave, depart or departure. For example, <em>Jeg afrejse i morgen<\/em> (I&#8217;m leaving tomorrow). Is this different from <em>forlade<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Efterlade<\/strong> means to leave or leave behind, for example: <em>Vi forlod Elvis i bygningen<\/em> (We left Elvis in the building).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overlade<\/strong> means to leave or entrust. For example: <em>Overlad sangen til Elvis<\/em> (Leave the singing to Elvis). <\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u00f8slade<\/strong> means to release, let, free, leave, allow.
