Last week I learnt a useful Czech word – \u0160up!<\/strong> – which can mean Whoosh!, Go!, Move!, Hurry up! and similar, and \u0160up \u0161up!<\/strong> means Chop-chop!<\/p>\n

A more polite way to say the same thing is poj\u010fme<\/strong>, which literally means “Let’s (do something)”. Here are some examples of usage:<\/p>\n

– Poj\u010fme na proch\u00e1zku = Let’s go for a walk
\n– Poj\u010fme p\u011b\u0161ky = Let’s walk
\n– Poj\u010fme na to \/ Poj\u010fme to ud\u011blat = Let’s do this
\n– Poj\u010fme se na to pod\u00edvat = Let’s take a look at it
\n– Poj\u010fme spolupracovat = Let’s work together
\n– Poj\u010fme p\u0159em\u00fd\u0161let = Let’s think<\/p>\n
