In the Russian lesson I worked on today there was an interesting expression – \u043c\u043d\u043e\u0433\u043e \u0433\u0434\u0435<\/strong> (mnogo gde) – which is a colloquial way of saying “many places” or “lots of places”, and literally means “many where”. <\/p>\n

It’s used in the following context:<\/p>\n

– \u0433\u0434\u0435 \u0442\u044b \u0431\u044b\u043b, \u043a\u0440\u043e\u043c\u0435 \u0420\u043e\u0441\u0441\u0438\u0438?
\n(gde ty byl, krome Rossii?)
\nwhere have you been besides Russia?<\/em><\/p>\n

– \u042f \u043c\u043d\u043e\u0433\u043e \u0433\u0434\u0435 \u0431\u044b\u043b, \u0432 \u0415\u0432\u0440\u043e\u043f\u0435 \u0438 \u0410\u0437\u0438\u0438.

\nI’ve been to lots of places in Europe and Asia.<\/em><\/p>\n
