When discussing the origin of the word <em>chanbara<\/em>, which is an abbreviation of <span class=\"romaji\"><em>chanchan barabara<\/em> (\u30c1\u30e3\u30f3\u30c1\u30e3\u30f3\u30d0\u30e9\u30d0\u30e9), <\/span>No-sword says the the chanchan part &#8220;is mimesis for the sound of swords clashing&#8221;. I hadn&#8217;t seen this word before so had to look it up in the dictionary, and I like the sound of it.
