Pulmis was invented by Bobby Morris as alternative alphabet for English. It's designed to be as structurally simple as possible whilst maintaining a kind of phonetic meaning in the symbols. The name "pulmis" is a modified rearrangement of the word "simple".
"May the Great God whom I worship grant to my Country
and for the benefit of Europe in general, a great and glorious victory
and may no misconduct in any one tarnish it
and may humanity after victory be the predominant feature of the British fleet"
Part of Nelson's last prayer before the Battle of Trafalgar
