Nanti (Pucapucari)

Nanti is an Arawakan language with about 250 speakers in the the southeastern part of the Peruvian Amazon, mainly near the headwaters of the Camisea and Timpia Rivers. It is closely related to Matsigenka.

The language is also known as Kogapakori, Cogapacori or Kugapakori, which means 'violent person' in Matsigenka and is consider perjorative.
