Flos alphabet
Flos was created by John González as an alternative alphabet
for Spanish. It can also be used to write English. The letters
are written above and below a central line in a similar way
to Ogham. The alphabet is based partly on shapes found in nature,
and also on some writing systems.
Notable features
- Type of writing system: alphabet
- Writing direction: left to right in horizontal lines
- Used to write: Spanish and English
- Letters are all connected to one another, and words are
separated by small spaces
- There is no distinction between upper and lower case
- This alphabet is ideal for writing in ink on manuscripts
