Emurhergen is an alternative alphabet for Tungusic / Manchu-Tungus languages invented by Gary Yao in 2011. It is modelled on the Manchu alphabet, and its name combines Emur, from the Emur river, near which most speakers of Tungusic languages live, and the word hergen, which means alphabet or script in Manchu.
