Common Syllabics

Common Syllabics was created by Jonathon Grimes during the early 1990s to write the main language used in a role playing game: Common. Jonathon modelled Common Syllabics on the Cree syllabary and on the Devanagari alphabet.

Notable features

Written from left to right in horizontal lines
Diacritics are added to the basic consonant symbols to indicate different vowel sounds.
