Aceri Halit

The Aceri Halit script was invented by Joel Barrott and combines features of the Arabic, Devanagari, Thai and Tibetan scripts with new characteristics added by Joel. He uses it as a alternative way of writing English, but it can also be used to write other languages written with the Arabic, Devanagari or Latin alphabets.

Notable features

Type of script: vocalised abjad
Direction of writing: left to right in horizontal lines
Used to write: English
Vowels are written above or below the consonants that precede them, or are attached to the symbol for a if not preceded by a consonant
Each syllable has a syllable 'streak' above it.
