...My coursework at Northwestern in Chinese includes three quarters each of Chinese I, II, III, and Chinese Literature. In addition, I have taken classes in English on Chinese culture and history. I took Chinese III intensively at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, where I was immersed in the language.
