...My specialty is English composition and reading comprehension, along with Latin (I have experience tutoring for the AP Latin Vergil exam and Julius Caesar's Gallic Commentaries) and some Russian, Chinese and French. ...I am currently enjoying my teaching in Colorado Heights University's outstanding ESL program for adult learners. Very recently one of the Dean's of Academic Affairs said to me: "You are a Rock Star in the Classroom". I take that comment to be a reference to my instruction since I neither play an instrument or sing that well.

...I love teaching, I love children. I work at a private center assisting in the Pre-K classroom during the morning and then teaching the school-age classroom (K-6th grade). On average I have about 8-15 kids in my class from all grades. And I tutor them all after school.

...Literature is one of my greatest loves. I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature and will receive a master's degree in the same within the next year. ...Depending on the age of the student, I teach to four strands: vocabulary and grammar, derivatives, history and culture and translation. My students learn to love Latin and sometimes mistakenly call me Mrs. Latin instead of using my name.
