My basic attitude to the learner of the English Language is that the student is here to gain as much fluency and confidence in speaking well our language. ...I believe it is every adult's responsibility to use whatever resources are available to help children succeed. There is no such thing as "I can't do the work." I believe most of the time this phrase really means, "I don't UNDERSTAND the work." It is my job as a teacher and tutor to help that student understand the work, so they can do the work.
