...My mother is elementary school teacher in Arlington County, so I guess I have it in me. I also understand what it is like to struggle with school. And while I was tutoring as an undergrad and grad school, I pride myself in helping my students in way possible.

...The strongest students know what they know and know what they don't know. Weaker students need help identifying strengths (to build on) and weaknesses (to overcome or work around). I have tutored students on organization and time management strategies. I include public speaking as part of a freshman seminar I teach.
