...After working for six months in an upscale furniture showroom and translating, I completed a two-year post-graduate program in Industrial Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design di Milano. I also started an import business importing leather belts and handbags from Italy to the U.S. The import business finally forced me to relocate to NYC, but I traveled back and forth a lot.

...I then completed a graduate degree in orchestra conducting (Carnegie-Mellon University) and an Opera Conducting Certificate (Milan Conservator) which included the study of choral composition. I have posted several of my own compositions on my personal music educator website online. In addition, I taught theory and sight-singing at a Jewish high school for two years in New York City.
