...I did not speak English when I arrived in the United States when I was fourteen, but with help from my teachers and friends and my steadfast effort, I completed high school with grades good enough for me to receive a presidential scholarship to my University. If I can do it, so can you! By discovering best ways for my students to learn I can make learning more enjoyable and even fun.

...I teach reading music in both treble and bass clefs, time and key signatures. I also teach Solfege (Do, Re Mi..) and intervals to help with correct pitch. I use IPA to teach correct pronunciation of foreign language lyrics (particularly Latin). I have a portable keyboard to bring to lessons and music if the student doesn't have their own selections that they wish to learn.
