...I find that an understanding of phonetics increases confidence with speech while a solid foundation in language structure enforces the retention of information. I began studying French at the age of eleven. After high school, I continued with French at New York University, completing the program of French & Linguistics.

...Most of my work has been in French levels 1-3, but I would also be available to help upper level students. I majored in French at Valdosta State University and participated in two study abroad trips to Rennes, France, where I attended the Université Franco-Américaine. I then continued my studies in French at Boston University, where I obtained my MAT.

...Once a student feels confident in his or her ability to progress in a subject, I find that frustration tends to disappear. Therefore I try to instill some of that confidence while focusing on moving forward. My teaching experience includes tutoring English as a second language with the Literacy Network of South Berkshire.
