There is always more than one way to solve a math problem! As a former math teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Stanford and a Master's degree in Teaching from American, I know that there are infinite ways to approach math problems. I also know that exploring many methods is the best way to build conceptual understanding of math.

...It was a wonderful experience! I also was a mentor to a then 14 year old high school freshman through a non-profit called Project-AID. I taught her a lot about world history and different cultures in the activities that I planned with her.
