...Since my specialization was math and science I started tutoring math and later on English. My experience tutoring French is a little unusual as I started tutoring French as a second language in the United States, while working. I started tutoring adults to help them prepare for the Foreign Service Language Proficiency exam for assignments abroad.

...They complete realistic tasks, talk about the real world, and laugh as they learn. In Test Prep, which is becoming so competitive, we practice with white board games, flash cards, and sometimes games online. Often, high school students need to review from "the bottom up," making sure that their foundation knowledge in math, reading and English is solid.

...I attended the Fairfax County Immersion program for French from 1st-7th grade. For parents that are unfamiliar with the program, your child's classes (with the exception of English writing and grammar) are taught exclusively in the language of choice. There are 4 different options from which to choose: Spanish, French, Chinese, and Japanese.

...I make my class fun by sharing amusing stories from my country and being very theatrical when it comes to pronunciation.
