Hi, my name is Fauna and I am originally from Chicago and now a transplant here in Washington. I have lived in Europe and in South America and enjoy working with people from all cultures. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Spanish in 2004 from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

...I tutored children in grades K-5 for the past two years in literacy. K-2 worked on phonics, read books connected with the curriculum, wrote stories and had progress checks. Grades 3-5 learned to better understand cause and effect, genre, details and other literacy topics.

...Currently I am a full-time student at Pierce Community College, Lakewood (Tacoma) WA. Although, I have not formal tutoring experienced I have helped a friend of my mother to learn conversational Spanish and some of my high school friends with their Spanish homework. ...Students will come to understand and be able to use perspective, modeling, shading, negative and positive space, composition and color theory to be able to create representational and abstract art. Subjects can range from landscape, still life and figurative art to graphic design. I can tutor students in the use of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign as well.
