...I graduated from Georgia State University in 2008 with a Spanish degree that includes a concentration in Literature. I have been tutoring since 2009. with all kinds of students, ranging from elementary students to corporate business leaders. I have grown up around the Spanish language all my life and use it on a daily basis.

...The approach that I find most effective is to focus on working with students as active, hands-on learners. Teaching phonics is something I love doing. The method I prefer is that of focusing on vowels and vowel patterns in words so that the student can not only know the sounds but know when to use the sounds.

...I completed my student teaching experience in fourth grade at Garden Lakes Elementary.I absolutely love reading and I try to share my enthusiasm with my students as much as possible to hopefully light a spark in them. I enjoy reading aloud to students and encourage them to read on their own. I know great strategies to improve reading ability and fluency.

...I want to impart that same passion to students, young and old. I have been teaching and coaching beginner through intermediate voice and piano. No voice is too hard to train and you are never to old to learn to play the piano.I am currently a private piano instructor for adult students, but my curriculum is designed for the beginner to intermediate.
