...Those studying physical science for the very first time are an ideal audience for my enthusiasm for this beautiful subject. Being a PhD student, my knowledge is certainly enough, but I believe my ability to transmit my passion is much more important, because it motivates my students to learn. Having had to study for the TOEFL myself is the best tool I can offer my own students.

I have been working in computer science related fields in research (Academia & labs) and industry. My PhD thesis is in numerical models for high performance computers.

...My research concentrated mostly on Modern Europe (1789-present) and my secondary field was late Ottoman history. Following that, I taught my own classes on Western Civilization at Piedmont Virginia Community College, also in Charlottesville. There, in addition to college-age learners, I had the opportunity to teach adult students, which I found to be richly rewarding.
