...The best way to learn any language is to be immersed in an environment where the student is exposed to it 24/7. Currently I am in such an environment. I am a senior at Gallaudet University, the world's only liberal arts university for the deaf and hard of hearing, and will be graduating in December of 2013 with a degree in Deaf Studies.

...I'm also a world traveler, having been to more than 30 countries in the past 3 years (notice my profile picture of my 20th birthday in Malaysia more than an year ago). My experiences traveling have forever humbled me. I believe I am resourceful when it comes to tutoring people about ASL. I will not only be teaching signs, but also the culture itself.
