I have been a guest teacher in the Franklin Pierce School District since '93. As a 3rd grade teacher on the Navajo Indian Reservation for 3 years, I taught phonics skills to my students.

...As a student, I was a part of the American Sign Language club at the local community college where we worked toward raising awareness about the deaf community by interpreting songs, poetry and conversations. I also assisted in tutoring those students who were struggling in their Sign Language classes for about a year. I have been tutoring a student living with dyslexia for six years.
