...After teaching high school English, I earned a master's degree in broadcast journalism and launched a career in television news. For the next 20 years, I had the time of my life as a reporter and/or producer in Minneapolis, Dallas, and here in Chicago at ABC-7 and NBC-5. After an early retirement, I returned to teaching: I was an adjunct professor in English, journalism and public relations.
