...I was really struggling with not so much learning new language but more so not being afraid to use it. I remember times when I though people will laugh at me because of my accent and pronunciation of English words. I preferred not to speak English as much as possible, and now I regret it.

...This involves reading several thousand essays from the AP US History Exam given worldwide in May of each year, and ranking them on a rubric, zero through nine. I was the only teacher from my school to be a reader in any AP subject. There are less than ten readers from all the Chicago Public Schools.
