Also the subject content requires differing types of learning, for example anatomy is much more memorization whereas psychology subjects are conceptual learning.

I try to get away from all of the memorizing done nowadays and get kids to look at the bigger picture of concepts, so by the time they start the next level, they won't have to memorize much.
