...Imagine being thrown into a pool before knowing how to swim. Spend enough time in there, and one may learn to swim - but s/he is much more likely to learn faster and more accurately without fear if first taught how to swim. Approaching the PSAT is also easier for the test-taker with appropriate strategies and test-taking skills.
