Extensive learning is good for people who just want to know enough Chinese for certain serviceable purposes, such as business trips, traveling plans, or just for fun.

...While at Tarleton, I was a college algebra tutor for 2 years with the Supplemental Instruction program. After I graduated in 2007, I continued to work for Tarleton State University as a computer programmer for 3 years. In 2011, I did a two-year internship in China and worked with a tourism company, while also building a website and studying Chinese.
