...As an experienced teacher, I adjust lessons to the individual learner's aim and focus on the context in which the language skills will be needed. I hold a degree in English (ESL), German, and Education from a German University and have taught in middle/ high school for the last 5 years. My husband and I recently moved to the USA, to Silver Spring, MD.

...One can learn how to identify a natural train of thought on a subject and get it onto paper in an engaging, unpretentious way. I have worked a variety of different teaching jobs. I volunteered as a fencing tutor in high school, I have coached people in triathlon training, and I have worked, in grad school, with students individually on their papers and test preparation.
