...For one summer I attended Gauladette College in Washington D.C. studying sign language, interpretation and deaf education. In 1985 I was a sign language interpreter at Baker City, OR. Then I worked in daycare and preschool from 1986 until the present time.

...I also completed the Summer Intensive Program at Rocky Mountain School of Photography.I learned sign language in high school and continued at that time interpreting for deaf students in other classes. I was also very active in our high school Theater for the Deaf, performing often. My major at Augustana College was Deaf Education.
