...We taught and analyzed a classic high school level novel (The Scarlet Letter) with junior year students. I also taught middle-school level ESL in Taiwan this past summer. I enjoy helping others brainstorm for essays- finding interesting connections between characters, or between events in the book to general truths or ideologies.

...I also studied German at the Goethe-Institut in Moscow and at the Paedagogische Hochschule in Erfurt, Germany. I enjoy working with people and watching them grow as they gain confidence learning a language. I am convinced that learning in a smaller group or individually is the most effective way to achieve mastering the German and Russian languages.
