Since, I have made clothes for children and adults, and now I sew custom rod sleeves for fly fishing rods and rod pouches for fishing reels, as part of our small fly fishing rod making business.

...When I see high school juniors doing basic arithmetic on their fingers it makes me cringe--and I blame the teachers, not the students! I work with young math students to be certain they feel confident in their math skills. It's not just that they learn the concepts, and have confidence, but I also instill a joy for math that serves them the rest of their lives.
