...In another case, my student was very intelligent; however, she had a fear of testing. I encouraged her and presented tips on how to approach the test paper and overcome the fear of testing. Eventually, this allowed her to improve her test scores and to go beyond her potential.

I use flash cards for math facts and I take a very methodical approach to helping my students master word problems. I have seen most of my students improve their math grades by at least one letter grade in a semester when they follow my methods.
