...When I got married and had a child of my own, I transitioned into private industry and worked briefly as the Director of Data and Research at an education technology company. It was more lucrative financially, but less emotionally satisfying. Now that I have two small children at home, they take up a lot of my time and energy... yet I find that I miss teaching.
