I ran cross-country for 3 years and trained in Mammoth Mountain each summer as well as competed across California. In Track & Field I did the 100m dash, 100m and 300m hurdles.

I continue to be active in this community, and occasionally attend events where I am able to be immersed in the language and culture. I am a credentialed math teacher, and work closely with students and family when tutoring. I believe students learn math more efficiently when they begin to understand the concepts of mathematics.
