I always spend time getting to know my students interests and learning styles so that I can help them engage with the material. I encourage students to set goals and then I work with them to meet those goals.

It is not enough to just memorize the rules of grammar or mathematics, but to understand them so that they can be used more effectively and more creatively. I believe in working with each student in a customized way that fits their individual needs and builds their confidence.
