...While you should certainly pick up sounds from native speakers and learn from them at advanced levels, having a teacher who has had to learn the language from the ground up just as you have is less likely to leave you frustrated. I started studying Russian my senior year in college. It was a late find for me, so I didn't have time to make it my major.

In 2012, I was ECFMG Certified and will be applying for residency training here in the US in 2013. This certification required as a sound knowledge of the basic science courses as well as the clinical courses and of course passing the USMLE steps 1 and 2.
