...In the DRC, I was a lawyer. Since the DRC is a French speaking country, I took all my classes in French. In Congo, and in the US, where I have become a new resident, I use French with proficiency in my daily communication (when I am home with my family, for example).
Besides French, I speak Swahili, Lingala, Tetela (Congolese dialects), and English.
