...During the 5 years I was a resource inclusion teacher, I was required to teach students phonics that were in special education and needed additional instruction outside of the general education classroom. I am certified in pre-K through 12 in special education as well as having my masters in special education. I have taught for 12 years.

...These basic skills are the foundation for every other kind of math students will be exposed to as they progress in school. Even complicated subjects like trigonometry and physics require using these basic skills in their problem solving process. It's important for students to leave elementary school with a strong base in math.

...I have a BA in English from the University of TN at Chattanooga. During college, I wrote many formal papers for classes within my major, including a course in advanced writing. While on staff as a teaching assistant at Highland Park High School, 2008-2009, I was recommended by English teachers, and I helped several students with junior and senior writing assignments.
